Buckwheat being small steps into learning. I love capturing the beauty that resides within these campus gates. In about a year, these frames will be my portal to look at my past self. I will be leaving college soon. I shot and colour graded these in the form of memories. The earthy browns and soft golds will evoke memories of evening sessions. The subtle grays will remind me of aimless walks, echoes of laughter and the tense silence before deadlines. This harmony of light and shadow, will be my personal nostalgia. These colors will represent a sense of home, no matter where I am and also the thrill and stress of being a youth in the stages of figuring out what I want and what i am capable of.
